The Stade de Genève photovoltaic power plant

The Stade de Genève Photovoltaic Power Plant represents a unique integration of renewable energy infrastructure within an urban setting. Positioned atop the iconic stadium in Geneva, this solar power plant harnesses the sun's energy to generate 1.507 MW of clean electricity, demonstrating innovative land use in renewable energy projects.

Project Execution

Completed with the innovative vision of utilizing non-traditional spaces for energy generation, this project involved installing state-of-the-art photovoltaic systems across the stadium’s expansive roofing. The installation leverages high-performance solar technology, meticulously sourced and implemented by our EPC partners to ensure optimal energy capture and efficiency.

Impact

The Stade de Genève Photovoltaic Power Plant contributes significantly to local energy solutions, producing enough clean electricity to power hundreds of homes each year. This project not only supports Switzerland’s environmental goals but also sets a precedent for dual-use facilities, where recreational and sustainable practices coexist beneficially.
